Please read carefully before agreeing.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 4th Annual Ride for Wreaths (the "Event") on November 7, 2026, organized by Community for Veteran Families and American Legion Riders Post 245, I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. I understand that participation in a motorcycle ride and related event activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and death. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Community for Veteran Families (CVF Enterprise Inc), American Legion Riders Post 245, their officers, directors, volunteers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
3. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Event organizers to obtain medical treatment on my behalf if I am unable to do so.
4. PHOTO RELEASE. I grant CVF and American Legion Riders Post 245 the right to use photographs, video, or other images taken at the Event for promotional purposes without compensation.
5. RULES & CONDUCT. I agree to comply with all traffic laws, Event rules, and the directions of Event staff and ride marshals. I confirm that my vehicle is properly licensed, registered, and insured as required by Texas law.
6. MINOR PARTICIPANTS. If I am registering a minor, I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian and agree to this waiver on their behalf.
