Wreaths Across America Convoy and Ceremony

Wreaths Across America Convoy and Ceremony

December 19, 2026
San Antonio National Cemetery, 517 Paso Hondo St, San Antonio, TX 78202

Every December, communities across the nation pause to remember. To honor. To say the names of those who gave everything so that we could live freely. On December 19th, Community for Veteran Families is honored to participate in Wreaths Across America National Day at San Antonio National Cemetery — one of the most sacred and moving days on our calendar. Thousands of veterans rest within these hallowed grounds, many without family left to visit them. On this day, they will not be forgotten. We will convoy together from New Braunfels — riders, drivers, and families united in a single purpose — arriving at San Antonio National Cemetery to place fresh balsam remembrance wreaths on the graves of our fallen heroes. For our Adopt a Grave families, this is an especially personal moment — the opportunity to stand at the grave of the veteran they chose to honor and place a wreath with their own hands. If you have never witnessed a Wreaths Across America ceremony, we invite you to join us. It is something you will carry in your heart long after the day is over. Day of Schedule: 🚛 7:00 AM — Convoy staging begins at 1188 IH 35, New Braunfels, TX 78130 (Walnut and IH 35, southside of the interstate across from HEB) ⚠️ 7:30 AM — Safety meeting 🏍️ 7:45 AM — KSU (Kick Stands Up) — convoy departs New Braunfels 📍 9:00 AM — Arrive at San Antonio National Cemetery, 517 Paso Hondo St, San Antonio, TX 78202 🎄 9:00 AM — Unloading of trucks commences 💙 10:00 AM — Adopt a Grave families may place wreaths on their adopted veteran's grave prior to the ceremony 🎖️ 11:00 AM — Official WAA Ceremony begins

Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery — Grave Specific Wreath Placement

Saturday, December 20, 2026 · 12:00 PM
Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX

The day after Wreaths Across America, CVF will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery to place the wreaths that were sponsored for specific veterans' graves. These grave-specific requests are very personal to the families who sponsored them, and we are honored to help make sure those veterans are remembered by name.
